LOOPEZ Pet Securing System Instructions

CAUTION: Read these and prior cautions before using this product.

1) Select proper style and size LOOPEZ restraint unit.  3/4" or 7/8" to fit into holes to be used.  If no holes are provided, you may drill appropriate holes in desired location.

2) Make sure to have plastic bell (on the end of the eye-bolt) just past the flaring-plug and insert into desired holes, making sure flaring-plug fits flush with surrounding surface.  With thumb and finger, hold flaring-plug flush to surface and pull eye-bolt out as you turn eye-bolt in the clockwise direction until snug fit and plug is tight.

3) LOOPEZ Pet Secure Strap System with swivel snap-clips may be used on vehicles that come standard with cleats or welded D-rings (when no holes are provided).

4) The LOOPEZ Pet Secure lock-down/fasteners with eye-bolts are now ready to be attached to the adjustable width strap with D-ring in center of strap for attaching to pet collar (designed to fit most truck bed sizes) with the swivel snap-clips.

5) Adjust secure strap to fit snug between fasteners and cam-buckle.

6) Attach short collar strap between D-ring and pet's collar to desired length as to let pet move, but not to allow going over bed walls and hanging by the collar.

7) Attention: this short strap is owner's responsibility, and is not provided by LOOPEZ.

8) To release the LOOPEZ Pet Secure lock-down/fasteners:  Remove secure strap by releasing cam-buckle and loosen strap to allow swivel snap-clips to be removed from eye-bolts.  Place thumb and finger on flaring plug and turn eye-bolt in counter-clockwise direction until it stops.  Push eye-bolt and pull flaring plug with flange away from mounting surface.

9) Check lock-down/fasteners and secure strap, as well as short strap and collar every 25-30 miles and adjust as needed.

10) KNOW THE LAW IN YOUR STATE: Many states require you to secure your pet in your vehicle.
